Our Top 20 Beach Clubs In Asia In 2025

FINNS Beach Club – Bali, Indonesia

FINNS is widely known as the world’s best beach club, and there’s no doubt that this beach club on the Indonesian island of Bali sets the pace for all other beach clubs to follow.

There’s a spirit of constant reinvention at FINNS as they try to nail the world’s best beach party experience every single day of the year (well, except for the Balinese day of silence, Nyepi).

Their infinity pools, endless entertainment, gorgeous architecture, Balinese hospitality and sunset views are second to none. FINNS is a beach club like no other.

Address: Jl. Pantai Berawa No.99, Canggu, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361

Why Visit? You want to dance the night away and make new friends in an adults-only environment

Is It Family-Friendly? No, since May of 2025, FINNS has been entirely an adults-only venue with a minimum age of 16 to enter the club

Vibe: High-energy, beautiful people, Instagram-worthy, fun

Potato Head Beach Club – Bali, Indonesia

Potato Head is the near polar opposite of FINNS. While you go to FINNS to party, you go to Potato Head to chill out. It’s famous for its nearly horizontal music programming to ensure you never break a sweat.

The club is very eco-friendly, and we’d recommend taking a book to enjoy a daybed by the infinity pool and just let the sunset wash over you.

Address: Petitenget St No.51B, Seminyak, Kuta Utara, Badung Regency, Bali 80361

Online: Potatohead

Why Visit? You’re ready for a break and want to recharge your batteries for the day

Is It Family-Friendly? Yes, children are allowed into this beach club and into the resort here in general

Vibe: Laid-back, anything goes, upscale

Nomad Beach Club – Phuket, Thailand

Nomad is Thailand’s big beach club success story, and there’s no doubt that the sunsets here offer a fabulous touch to the early evenings.

We’d also mention that the food here is exactly the kind of showcase of Thai food that every tourist ought to enjoy once in their lives. The DJs, fire shows and eccentric cocktails are the icing on the beach club cake at Nomad.

Address: 323/13 Moo 2 Bang Tao Tambon Changthalang, Phuket, Phuket 83110, Thailand

Online: Nomad

Why Visit? You’re looking for a casual spot for dining, chilling and then partying at night

Is It Family-Friendly? Yes, children are welcome at this beach club, though they may find it a little loud. This beach club is also dog-friendly.

Vibe: Chill, Loud, Energetic

Maya Beach Club – Phuket, Thailand

This slightly oddball beach club draws on Mayan and Aztec influences for its decor, but there’s no doubt that it brings in the crowds all the same.

The vibe here is very much chill-out time, and while there is live music in the evenings, it’s laid-back and not so intense as at Nomad. The service is memorably Thai, too.

Beach Club at Kandima – Maldives

The Maldives has nowhere near as many beach clubs as it merits, but there’s no doubt that this all-inclusive beach club is a good start.

They have swim-up bars, stylish cabanas, and wonderful beach views. They also have their own coral reef, which is, we think, unique among the world’s beach clubs!

Address: 8th Floor, H. Thuniya Building, Boduthakurufaanu Magu, Male’ 20066, Maldives

Online: Kandima

Why Visit? You fancy an all-inclusive menu which delivers endless food for a fixed price, or you want to snorkel a coral reef

Is It Family-Friendly? Yes, very much so, and they have a Kandiland Beach Club just for children under 12, too

Vibe: Sporty, Delicious and Fun

Ku De Ta, Bali – Indonesia

The oldest beach club in Bali is still one of the best, and there’s no doubt that the roof deck at Ku De Ta is one of the best places for a little ocean watching on the island.

If you like your music loud and in your face, then partying at Ku De Ta will never feel like a chore, and their cold cocktails are often considered among the best on the island.

Online: Ku De Ta

Why Visit? You’re in the mood for a slice of nostalgia with some heavy beach club tunes

Is It Family-Friendly? Children are allowed into this beach club, and there is a dedicated children’s pool and kids’ menu. However, kids under 12 may not go up to the roof deck.

Vibe: Relaxed, party, noisy

Catch Beach Club – Phuket, Thailand

This may be the beach club with the best sunset view in Thailand, and while it is a 35-45 minute drive from the main part of Phuket, it’s worth the effort to get here.

Sure, it’s a little pricier than your average Thai bar, but the beachfront location is perfect for relaxing and unwinding, and the food is excellent.

Azure Beach Club – Boracay, The Philippines

Set in the Crimson Resort and Spa, this is Boracay’s best-known beach club, and it’s popular because of its lively, friendly atmosphere and first-rate DJs.

The menu is very much focused on the best of Asian food, and the club is happy to offer special packages for celebrations and for romantic dinners away from the crowds.

Why Visit? You’re in the mood for great Asian food, or you want to party all night long

Vibe: Friendly, welcoming, frenetic

Sandbox Pink Sand Beach Club – Koh Samui, Thailand

If you like pink, then you’re going to love Sandbox, which may be the pinkest beach club that we’ve ever witnessed.

It’s also one of the best places in Asia for daytime pool parties, and the onsite DJs get the crowd moving very early in the day. The food’s very good and the coastal views are excellent too.

Address: 168, 62 Chaweng Beach Rd, Tambon Bo Put, Chaweng, Surat Thani 84320, Thailand

Vibe: Hip, playful, party hard

Tanjong Beach Club – Sentosa, Singapore

Sentosa is Singapore’s upmarket beach strip near the theme parks and high-end resorts, and Tanjong Beach Club reflects that clientele very well, indeed.

If you’re in the mood for a beachfront escape on a very attractive strip of sand, with the proviso that it’s a little more conservative than your average beach club, Tanjon is what you need.

Vibe: Carefree, Conservative, Chilling

UMS Beach Club – Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia

This is, perhaps, the only public beach club that we can think of in Asia. It’s a place to go and kick back on the beach like in the good old days, there’s no pool, but you can swim in the sea.

It’s packed with food and drink vendors and water sports enthusiasts and teachers and equipment hire companies galore.

Malibu Beach Club – Da Nang, Vietnam

Da Nang may be Vietnam’s premier beach destination, but it’s trying to catch up with the big players in the beach club world.

Malibu is a pleasant spot for cocktails by the sea, and they play decent house and club music through a sturdy sound system. The local DJs are very popular.

As you’d expect in Dubai, the service is always first rate and everything is calm, elegant and effortless. If you want to be wowed and don’t mind paying for it, Sirene is great.

Why Visit? It’s the best party spot on the beach in Goa

Is It Family-Friendly? Not really, no.

La Brisa – Bali, Indonesia

Bali’s final entry on our list is the attractive ship-styled beach club of La Brisa, an altogether informal but stylish place with a relaxing daytime vibe and a party at night energy.

If sitting in furniture made of reclaimed ocean wood and dining on wood-fired pizzas with cold beers in hand appeals, La Brisa is a nice spot for it.

Why Visit? The unique Instagram-worthy interior and chilled-out vibes

Is It Family-Friendly? It’s not entirely a child-friendly venue, but there is a family area, though guests are required to supervise their own children

The Beach Club at Six Senses – Krabey Island, Cambodia

You have to stay at the exclusive resort to use this beach club, but if you do, you will find yourself in one of the most attractive beach clubs in Asia, which is a surprising find in Cambodia of all places.

The Salty Beach Club – Okinawa, Japan

Given how far North Japan is, it’s perhaps not surprising that they don’t have a huge number of beach clubs on their islands.

Tips For Choosing The Right Beach Club For Your Day Out

We always recommend that you keep in mind three things when choosing your first beach club in order to ensure that you have a happy and memorable experience.

  1. What you want out of the day – FINNS is the world’s best beach club, but it’s a party destination. There’s no point taking your family there; they won’t let children in, and the day would be a major letdown. So, think about the vibe you want – it’s better to spend a day chilling by the pool at Potato Head or a night dancing at FINNS. If you want some middle ground, La Brisa might be your perfect choice. Beach club days are all about you, so start by knowing what you want.
  2. Always make a reservation if you can – take it from us, even the quietest of beach clubs can sell out in peak season, and the best beach clubs are often packed out all year round (or, at least, as much of the year as they are open for). Making a reservation does mean dealing with things like minimum spend in advance, but it also guarantees that you get the seats you want and have a great time.
  3. Arrival timing matters – if you dream of dancing until dawn, turning up at 9 a.m. is probably going to make for a hard day, no matter how much fun the beach club is. Conversely, if you want to chill by the sea reading a book, arriving at sunset as the DJs crank up the tunes is not going to turn out well.

FAQs

Which Country In Asia Has The Best Beach Clubs?

Right now, there’s no contest. The country is Indonesia. But the location is Bali. Most of the rest of the archipelago has yet to catch on to the beach club scene, so head to Bali and you’ll have over one hundred beach clubs to choose from!

With absolute titans of the global beach club scene like FINNS Beach Club and Potatohead on the island, Bali is currently setting the standards for beach clubs all over the world.

What’s even better about Bali is how reasonably priced it is. Sure, it’s not as cheap as it was 20 years ago, but it’s way cheaper than a day out at Nikki Beach in Miami or Scorpios in Mykonos.

And you’ll find live DJs, great entertainment and amazing sound systems galore in Bali, you simply can’t go wrong.

Are Asian Beach Clubs Cheaper Than Western Beach Clubs?

It depends on where you go. Places like Vietnam, Bali and Thailand offer exceptional value for money that is far cheaper than you’d expect to pay in Ibiza, Miami, the Caribbean, etc.

However, if you want to party in Japan, China, etc., then you’re going to find that things get quite a bit more expensive.

As a general rule, we think it’s safe to say that Asian Beach Clubs are cheaper than Western Beach Clubs, but there are always exceptions to the rule. Even in Bali, you could find one or two places charging much more than the local market ought to bear.

What Is The Best Beach Club In Asia?

FINNS Beach Club is currently the best beach club in Asia and in the world as a whole. It’s the combination of incredible entertainment, chic interior design, Balinese hospitality, stunning sunset views, delicious food and amazing value that’s almost impossible to beat.

There’s no doubt that right now, FINNS sets the standard for beach clubs globally and other places race to catch up.

Are Beach Clubs Worth It In Bali?

Yes! Beach Clubs in Bali are worth it. In fact, when you compare Bali’s beach clubs to beach clubs elsewhere in the world, they are incredible value for money.

If you want to enjoy cold cocktails, tasty nasi goreng, vibrant sunset views and amazing days by the ocean on a tropical island that is often referred to as paradise, you simply cannot go wrong when you spend time at a beach club in Bali.

Is Bali Or Thailand Better For Partying?

It depends. Bali’s party strip of Canggu, Seminyak and Kuta (and to some extent Legian, Jimbaran, Uluwatu, Ungasan and Ubud) can’t be beaten by anything in Thailand.

In fact, Canggu alone is an incredible party destination that offers limitless possibilities for great nights out.

However, the rest of Bali is not particularly party-oriented, whereas you can often find party destinations in small villages and towns in Thailand.

Overall, we think Bali has this one, but there’s no doubt you can have a good time in Thailand too.

Final Thoughts On Asia’s Best Beach Clubs

Asia’s emerging beach club scene is exciting and exhilarating, and there’s no doubt that you can find a beach club on the continent to suit your mood and occasion.

Of course, if you’re finding it hard to make up your mind, you could just head to Bali and sample the hundred-plus beach clubs there before you pick your next destination in Asia!
