Eva has so many titles online that it left our heads spinning. There’s Eva Beach House, Eva Beach Restaurant and Eva Beach Club, and it’s the last one that made us decide to review this place, of course.

Dubai is getting into the beach club scene in a big way, and there are so many options out there in the emirate that it’s sometimes hard to figure out what’s what.

So, we dispatched our top team of reviewers with a gallon of suntan lotion, their notebooks and a generous expense account to find out the truth. It didn’t take a lot of persuading them to visit, but then, we’ve discovered that it very rarely does.

This is what they found when they went to Eva Beach Club or Restaurant, or House, Dubai.

Introduction – Getting To Eva Beach Club, Dubai

The toughest bit of getting to any beach club is getting to the country that they’re based in, but getting to the UAE is super easy, and Dubai itself may be the easiest place in the world to get to for many people.

That’s because the emirate has been investing in infrastructure in a big way ever since it came into a little oil wealth; the oil is now gone, but the infrastructure lives on.

The airport was first a hub connecting Asia to Europe, Africa and Australia, but now, it’s a place which millions of people choose as their ultimate destination to see the incredible city in the sand that is Dubai.

Eva Beach Club is on the Palm Jumeriah, which is an area of reclaimed land that runs from the coast of Jumeriah (Dubai’s top tourist destination) out into the sea and which is shaped like a palm (this area is definitely best seen from above at least once).

That means most tourists will only be a few minutes’ drive from the beach club, but if you are staying further away than Jumeriah or the Dubai Marina area, make sure to leave a lot of travel time around the city’s rush hours – the traffic can be murderous at these times of day.

When you reach Eva, you will have no problem parking (yes, there’s a valet on the door as with almost every venue in the emirate) or being dropped off at the door by a taxi.

What’s Available At Eva Beach Club, Dubai?

Eva Beach Club has a pool, comfortable seating, a restaurant, a bar and on Saturdays it has both a luxury brunch and a “brunch after party”.

However, this isn’t really a party venue and mostly it’s a place to come and luxuriate with food and drinks in the heat of the Dubai sun.

Our Detailed Review Of Eva Beach Club, Dubai

We implement a standardised process to review every beach club, ensuring fair assessment for owners, management, and staff, and offering reviews in a consistent format that facilitates seamless venue comparisons.

The review process is structured as follows:

  • A team is tasked with evaluating the venue.
  • Each member must visit the beach club, with the flexibility to visit independently and on different days.
  • During their visit, every reviewer completes a scorecard, rating the club from 1 (least impressive) to 5 (most impressive) in predefined categories, while also noting their observations.
  • After all team members have submitted their scorecards, they meet to discuss their experiences and finalise scores for each category.
  • A chosen team member then composes the review, capturing the team’s discussions and final scores, before it is published on our website.

Reservation and Booking Process

We don’t know how often it needs to be said, but we’re going to keep on saying it anyway. Seven Rooms is not a beach club booking system; it’s a restaurant booking system.

Being sent to another website to book is a poor customer experience and frankly, inexcusable in 2025 in a place as wealthy as Dubai. It shows genuine contempt for the user of your website.

The issues with this system are legion, but include the fact that you can’t choose a specific seat when you book – something that really matters when you’re locking in for a whole day by the pool.

And the fact that taking a deposit is often not done because the beach clubs don’t want their money handled with a commission before you arrive, which means that they have no incentive to hold your reservation if you arrive late, either.

It’s better than nothing, but only just, and really, we’d like to see a huge migration from this system in Dubai. How it is that beach clubs with far fewer financial resources in places like Bali can do such much better, we’ll never know.

Rating:

Ambience and Atmosphere

Eva is a very nice place and it has a gentle, relaxing atmosphere which may be a bit non-distinct, but if you’re trying to get away from it all after a hard year at work, it is ideal.

No, it won’t win any prizes for this, but it doesn’t have to. Sometimes, you just want to go some place and metaphorically let it all hang out, and Eva is one of those places.

You sit on a comfy seat, occasionally splash about in the pool, and consume vast quantities of fluid (often alcoholic ones) punctuated by moments of grazing on the tasty food, that’s all we want some days.

Rating:

Location And Accessibility

You really can’t go wrong with Dubai when it comes to getting to a place. Then, Jumeriah itself is the heart of Dubai’s tourism trade, and nearly everyone stays within a stone’s throw of the general area.

The Palm is a super desirable place to be, too, as the huge reclaimed land project is world famous and it’s one of the very few man-made structures that can be seen from outer space (unlike the Great Wall of China, which you can’t see from outer space).

You will find that, unless you’re staying in Deira and driving into the Dubai traffic at rush hour that Eva’s location is entirely satisfactory.

We are also pleased to note that most of this venue is wheelchair accessible, and they aim to provide a warm and welcoming environment for all guests.

Rating:

Aesthetic And Design

This is a land of big corporate beach clubs, and while there’s no doubt that Eva’s a very lovely place that looks great in your Instagram feed, there’s also little doubt that it doesn’t stand out very much either.

We like it when beach clubs have a strong visual identity, but we find that in Dubai, they all seem to blur into one giant beach club in your head.

There’s very little risk-taking or design work that’s a touch off the wall. They play it safe here, and that’s OK. You won’t complain about the look and feel of Eva; you just won’t remember it very clearly a few days later.

Rating:

Staff Friendliness and Professionalism (Service Standard)

Dubai’s hospitality industry is legendary thanks to the incredible talents of the staff pool that businesses can draw on.

Where in many countries it’s impossible to get work permits for staff, in Dubai, it’s a trivial matter, and people come from all over the planet to work here as the salaries are high and tax-free.

So, it should come as no surprise that at Eva Beach Club, the staff are friendly and professional and represent the epitome of what you should expect from beach club workers.

Rating:

Service Speed and Efficiency

And we have absolutely no complaints about the service from a speed and efficiency standpoint either.

We found that the staff could read us very well and were almost always on hand without needing to be signalled to take an order.

Once the orders were jotted down, they were immediately worked on at the bar and in the kitchen, and we never had to wait unduly for food and drinks.

We also found the check arrived promptly when called for, along with any change required.

Rating:

Food Quality and Variety

The menu is big and varied at Eva Dubai, but we didn’t always feel that it matched up to the promise of that variety.

The Wagyu Rib Eye, for example, was rich and flavoursome, but the Linguine Lobster was a little overcooked and not quite to our liking.

Overall, we felt that the ingredients used were of good quality and that it was clearly prepared fresh, but they might benefit from narrowing down the volume and focusing on delivering a more world-class experience in the cuisine department.

Rating:

Beverage Selection and Creativity

One thing that we can’t fault Eva for is that their signature cocktails are cracking value for money; it’s just a shame that there are only four of them to choose from.

In fact, while the food menu might be a little too large, Eva suffers from the opposite issue in beverages; there’s not quite enough to choose from.

The drinks are reasonably priced for Dubai, mind you, which is a nice thing to encounter, but even then, we’d like more choice.

Rating:

Cleanliness and Hygiene

One thing you quickly get used to in Dubai is that top-quality businesses like Eva Beach Club do not mess around when it comes to keeping things clean and tidy.

Every part of this beach club is beautifully kept, and the pool water is clear and very inviting. The toilets and changing rooms are sparkling clean, and all told, we doubt anyone would have concerns re hygiene here.

Rating:

Comfort of Seating and Lounging Areas

Were they the best daybeds we’ve ever tried? No. But they were very good and we doubt anyone will complain about their comfort spending a day by the pool at Eva Beach Club, Dubai.

Rating:

Music and Entertainment

There’s piped music during the day, but for events and the Saturday brunch after party, they have a DJ.

The focus is laid-back and chill, though, rather than an all out party. And that’s fine by us.

Rating:

Seasonality

In Dubai, there is exactly one kind of weather – hot and sunny – all year long. It rains about 3 times a year and never for very long.

That means you can enjoy the same hours and services at this beach club all year round. But remember it’s super hot – so spend a lot of time in the shade and always rehydrate.

Rating:

Pricing and Value for Money

It’s Dubai, so it’s expensive compared to many of the other destinations around the globe. That doesn’t mean that Eva Beach Club is a rip-off, though.

In fact, it’s better value for money than many of the other beach clubs in the emirate.

Rating:

Beach Access and Quality

You get access to a private beach, but don’t forget that while the sand is attractive and soft underfoot (though please don’t put bare feet into sand in Dubai, you will get burned), this is reclaimed land.

That means the ocean water isn’t great for swimming in and when you combine that with the risk of riptides, it’s best to stick to the beach club’s pool for a swim.

Rating:

Sustainability Practices

While we have no doubt that Eva Beach Club is participating in the official government ESG initiatives that the hospitality industry is required to be a part of, it has no other visible commitments to sustainability or reporting on that aspect of its business.

We find that pretty disappointing in 2025. Come on, it’s time to show how you give back to the community you serve, Eva Beach Club.

Rating:

Exclusive Perks for Guests

A towel, a locker and a daybed are what you get at Eva Beach Club, assuming you take a daybed, and that’s about it.

It’s the standard deal for Dubai, but we can’t help but wish for more. Why are there no VIP or Premium inclusions for an extra fee? Beach clubs really need to look harder at this and entice us to spend even more money.

Rating:

Safety and Security

This is Dubai, and one thing you can be certain about is that everyone takes your safety and security seriously.

There are on-the-spot checks as needed and plenty of security staff on hand to deal with any trouble that might arise, which mainly it just won’t.

Rating:

Event Hosting Capabilities

There is an events team at Eva Beach Club, but unlike many of the other beach clubs in town, they don’t push this service.

We guess that’s because the location is often booked out in advance, and they don’t need the hassle of arranging cordoned-off areas inside. That’s a nice problem to have, though, right?

Rating:

Consistency of Experience

Our team, the guests that they interacted with at Eva and online reviews all agree that consistency is the hallmark of Eva Beach Club, and you will always have an enjoyable day at this beach club.

However, the conservative nature of things in this emirate means that there’s rarely a culture of constant innovation that seeks to take things to the next level.

Rating:

Additional Amenities and Facilities

This beach club has all the amenities and facilities that you could expect on the Palm Jumeirah, and if you do need anything more, it will only be a short drive to find it.

Dubai is excellent for ensuring everything that you desire is on hand as long as you are willing to pay for it.

Summary

We enjoyed our day at Eva Beach Club, and whichever way they go with the name, we do think that it’s a proper beach club as it has beach access, a pool, restaurant and bar services as well as music, etc.

It’s not the most memorable place that we’ve visited, but that’s OK. It’s meant to be a place where you relax and get pampered; it’s not designed to burn itself into your most treasured memories, and that’s perfectly fine.

Overall, it might not be worth booking a Dubai holiday for the beach clubs in the emirate, but if you are passing by the Palm Jumeirah, we’d recommend that you take a few hours to check out Eva Beach Club.

FAQs

Can You Go Swimming At Eva Beach Club, Dubai?

Yes! You can swim at Eva Beach Club in Dubai. That’s because there’s a pleasant pool area at the club, which serves as a central focal point for the place.

It’s not the biggest pool that we’ve ever seen, but we didn’t find that Eva got all that busy either, so you should have no real problems swimming here at any time of day.

However, if you want to be 100% certain of getting in a few lengths, we’d choose to get to the club just as it opens, then you are guaranteed to have the water pretty much to yourself.

The pool is long but narrow, which means it can be challenging to swim in here as it starts to fill up with people cooling down in the water.

What Is There To Do At Eva Beach Club, Dubai?

Mostly, you can swim in the pool, walk on the private beach (make sure to wear flip flops or sandals as the sand can quite literally be so hot that it burns your feet on contact), eat and drink.

On Saturdays, they have a Dubai brunch (eat all you can and drink all you can for a fixed fee) and a post-brunch party. There is also a weekly ladies’ day when there is free entry for ladies and cut-price drinks.

We should stress, though, that this beach club is not a party spot, and you won’t find that things get crazy here. There is music, but it’s more laid back and chill than upbeat get your groove on stuff.

Is Eva Beach Club, Dubai, A Child-Friendly Venue?

No, Eva Beach Club in Dubai is not a family-friendly venue. It has a strict prohibition against children under the age of 16. It also requires all guests under the age of 21 to be accompanied by an adult at all times.

There may be exceptions when children are admitted to the terrace or the restaurant by arrangement, but even in those cases, children will not be allowed to access the pool areas or other parts of the venue.

We would point out that Dubai has many family-friendly beach clubs, and if you want to take your kids out for the day, it would be a good idea to visit those places instead.

Who Is The Owner Of Eva Beach Club, Dubai?

Eva Beach Club is part of the AIZA Hospitality Group after being handed over by the A&T Group, following the design and build. The AIZA Hospitality Group was founded by the CEO, Aizada Usenova, who is an Emirati woman.

Final Thoughts On The Review Of Eva Beach Club, Dubai

Eva Beach Club is a great way to experience the world-famous Palm Jumeirah if you’re not staying there during your time in the emirate.

It’s not a completely standout experience, but then, the conservative nature of Dubai means there are only so many ways to run a beach club there without falling afoul of the law or miring yourself in social controversy.

But if you’re in the mood for a relaxed day by the pool in the sweltering hot Dubai sun and don’t mind stocking up on sunscreen, this place should do nicely for you.
