Summesault has only just reopened after being closed for a bit of a refresh, and we thought that made it an ideal time to visit and carry out a review of what many consider to be one of the best beach clubs in Dubai.
The interior is still boho-chic but more polished and impactful than it has been in the past, and it’s a welcome change. However, the real excitement is around their new chef from Colombia, Hernan Garcia.
So, not being ones to say no to a Latin-inspired menu of vibrant dishes, our team were keen to head to Summersault and deliver their verdict on the new face on an old star. This is what they learned at Summersault Beach Club Dubai.
Introduction – Getting To Summersault Beach Club Dubai
Dubai is one of the world’s most popular destinations for expats and tourists alike. The emirate’s high standard of living, combined with low taxes, makes it a place where people love to spend their money.
The good news is that the Dubai government goes out of its way to facilitate that, and while Dubai Airport was once a transit point between Europe, Asia, Australia and Africa, now? Millions of visitors a year pass through, for whom the end destination is the UAE.
Once you arrive in the emirate, then there’s a very good chance that you wil be heading to Jumeirah as that’s where most of the tourist hotels are or in nearby Dubai Marina.
Given that Summersault is in Jumeriah, you’re going to find that it’s a short drive from your hotel, though if you are staying in Deira or further away, Dubai can have brutal traffic during the rush hour, so time your bookings appropriately or allow for long travel times.
Once you reach Summesault, then you will find that there’s the ubiquitous Dubai valet parking available, or your taxi driver can drop you off at the front door. It’s simply too hot in the emirate to do much walking from a car to a beach club.

What’s Available At Summersault Beach Club Dubai?
There’s an attractive pool area, an amazing view of the Burj Al Arab hotel, comfortable seating, restaurant and bar services, as well as DJs laying down some beats for most of the day.
They are aiming for relaxed and Latin-inspired rather than party hearty, and it’s more a place to chill with family and friends than it is to party into the wee small hours of the morning.

Reservation and Booking Process
Another Dubai beach club, another place relying on the dreadful Seven Rooms service to act as their booking engine.
We have no idea how this restaurant booking system has managed to worm its way into an industry that it’s entirely unsuited for.
A great beach club booking system lets you choose your exact seat. Not least when there’s a 400 AED ($110) charge just for sitting down. Yes, of your 650 AED entrance fee, only 250 AED comes back to you as a food and beverage credit.
And yes, that charge is per person. So, take a family of four, and you’re talking about a $500 fee to sit down! We wouldn’t mind so much if we could choose a great seat, but you can’t – you’re at the mercy of the staff when you arrive.
Frankly, it’s pretty disgraceful, and we really feel that all of Dubai’s beach clubs, which are all huge multi-million dollar investments, need to do much better in this area.
Ambience and Atmosphere
There’s no doubt that Summersault knows what it’s about, though, and once you arrive, the tranquil, relaxed vibe of this place is immediately apparent.
Where some beach clubs in Dubai make you feel a bit out of place at first, this one makes you feel like you want to kick back and just enjoy the spectacular view.
And while on balance, our team is probably geared more towards partying than chilling, we can appreciate a place like Summersault that makes chilling so darned easy.
Location And Accessibility
You just can’t go wrong with this spot in Jumeirah; the iconic Madinat Jumeirah is on hand to go shopping in, the view of the Burj Al Arab is utterly breathtaking, and it’s super easy to get to from most major hotels.
The beach is pleasant to look at, and overall, we can’t think of a better location in the emirate than this one.
We’d also note that most of the beach club is wheelchair accessible, which is a nice touch. However, we recommend contacting the club in advance if you want to use a wheelchair to ensure that your seating will be accessible.
Aesthetic And Design
It’s a gorgeous beach club, and there’s no doubt that visitors to Summersault are going to find that the first thing they do is run around with a camera and start snapping photos.
The only downside of that amazing Burj Al Arab view, however, is that it makes you wish you were in the world’s most expensive and famous hotel, too.
But you can’t have everything, and we’d say that Summersault is one of the best-looking places in Dubai, though it still has that slightly corporate, conservative touch to some of the finishings.
Staff Friendliness and Professionalism (Service Standard)
The emirate of Dubai has some of the most relaxed professional immigration laws in the world, as the local population is simply too small to do all the work required.
That means Summersault can draw on a global talent pool, and with tax-free salaries on offer, it can get the best of the best, and frankly, it has.
The service at this beach club is impeccable. Nothing’s too much trouble for the staff here, and their attention to detail is incredible.
They also know the menu, the beach club and the surrounding area incredibly well; they’ll be only too happy to share their knowledge with you as required.
Service Speed and Efficiency
This hiring policy stretches throughout the invisible sections of the beach club (at least from a public perspective), and the service never dips or flags during your time at Summersault.
Your orders are swiftly taken as soon as you want attention, and then, they are quickly picked up at the bar or in the kitchen and returned to you as fast as possible.
It doesn’t feel in the slightest bit rushed, mind you, it’s a fine art of staying as casual as the vibe and yet still being remarkably effective.
Service speed and efficiency are superlatively good at Summersault.
Food Quality and Variety
The menu at Summersault is almost perfect in length enough choice so that even the fussiest eater is happy, not enough choice that you spend three hours reviewing the menu and trying to narrow down a short list.
And the new food here is amazing, every dish is bright and vibrant with distinct and exciting flavours that make you wish for more.
There’s no doubt about it that Summersault operates at the highest level of beach club cuisine, and we’d be delighted to eat here every day if we could only afford to.
Beverage Selection and Creativity
They have an excellent cocktail list at Summersault, too, with plenty of classic cocktails and house creations to get you excited.
They’re beautifully presented and go very nicely with the food. For those seeking wines, beers, spirits, etc., there are plenty of choices there too.
Our only complaint is the price, which is a little on the high side even for Dubai, but then, you are drinking in the shadow of the Burj Al Arab.
Cleanliness and Hygiene
The standards at Summersault are so high that it simply won’t come as a surprise that they provide the cleanest toilets and changing rooms that we’ve seen, even by the emirate’s usual yardstick. This place is gleaming.
Overall, we can’t imagine anyone having any concerns about the cleanliness of this beach club. The pool water is also incredibly clear and attractive.
Comfort of Seating and Lounging Areas
They weren’t quite the best seats that we’ve ever tried, but they were very comfortable. There is definitely an element of the corporate about these areas, but that’s Dubai for you.
We doubt that anyone is going to find that a day at this club is anything other than relaxing, though, and you would be extremely churlish to complain about spending a day on the daybeds at Summersault.
Music and Entertainment
The music is provided by a DJ, but it’s a bit too chill to be really distinct. That’s not a bad thing, you come here to relax, not to dance all day and night long.
Seasonality
There’s no real seasonality in Dubai. The emirate is always hot and sunny. Summersault does close occasionally for a refresh (as they just did), but never for very long and certainly not on a scheduled basis.
The only downside of the Dubai weather is that you want to spend most of your time in the shade to avoid burning, and you really need to rehydrate regularly, or alcohol can leave you spinning and not in a good way.
Pricing and Value for Money
Summersault is expensive even for Dubai, but there’s no doubt that it provides excellent value for money in this highly competitive beach club market.
However, when we compare the costs to beach clubs globally, there’s no doubt that you get a lot more bang for your buck in Bali than in Dubai.
Beach Access and Quality
The beach at this beach club is very attractive, though a little minimal. It’s something that you can enjoy taking a walk along for a few minutes (though you should wear shoes – the sun can really heat up the sand here and you don’t want burns).
The staff keep things super clean, too. It’s not a great place for swimming in the ocean, but given that they have a lovely pool, there’s really no need to swim in the ocean.
Sustainability Practices
This is really the only area other than the booking process, which is disappointing for us at Summersault. They’ve made some vague statements about sustainability to the press, and we have no doubt that they’re making some effort.
But there’s no formal sustainability policy associated with the beach club and certainly no set targets, auditing or reporting.
We expect better, really. This is 2025; the planet won’t wait forever.
Exclusive Perks for Guests
They go all out at this beach club, and not only do you get the usual towel, locker and daybed, but you also get free sunscreen and unlimited drinking water.
That’s not bad (though given the very high price of a seat here, it should be good) at all. Though again, there’s no premium package with even more goodies, and we find that a little disappointing.
Safety and Security
Dubai is famous around the world for its safe and secure locations, and while this may be the Middle East, it’s not Tel Aviv or Beirut; bad things don’t happen in the UAE.
And that’s because everyone takes safety very seriously, and there are spot checks as needed prior to entering the club.
There is also enough security on hand to ensure that every day runs smoothly for the guests who don’t cause any trouble, and very few people cause trouble in Dubai, because the penalties for doing so are severe.
Event Hosting Capabilities
As you’d expect in Dubai, this beach club has a full events team (shared with the hotel) and they can help you hold any event that you want, from a small, intimate wedding to a massive corporate shindig.
We would expect them to do this very well, indeed, though it will come at a fairly hefty price tag per person, but that’s Dubai for you.
Consistency of Experience
We spoke to other guests and looked at online reviews, and combined with our team’s opinion, we all agree that this is one of the most consistent beach club experiences that we’ve ever had.
However, hotel beach clubs tend to find a lane and then stay in it, which ensures that their repeat customers know what to expect.
But it makes it hard to continuosly evolve and experiment and really push the boundaries of what it is to be great.
Additional Amenities and Facilities
They have all the basic amenities and facilities that you could expect from a relaxing hotel beach club, and the staff will try and source anything that you need beyond this.
If they can’t, you’re going to be within a short drive (or even walk if it’s available in Madinat Jumeriah), as this is Dubai and everything is available here for a price.
Summary
Summersault is already one of our favourite beach clubs in Dubai. Sure, it’s not a party zone, but it is one of the most wonderfully relaxing places that we’ve ever been.
You feel special when you come here, and the staff treatment is so good that you’ll practically be purring by the time your first meal arrives (oh yes, we stayed for more than one meal and would do again too).
This is what Dubai’s all about: high-end luxury with an amazing view and no pressure to do anything but let the world go by.

Can You Go Swimming At Summersault Beach Club Dubai?
Yes, you can swim in the incredibly attractive pool at this beach club. We would note that really the pools in Dubai beach clubs are very important for cooling off, and thus, at busier times of the day, they’re full of people and doing lengths, laps, or even widths can be a bit of a challenge.
We’d always recommend arriving very early in the day if you want to be certain of a swim, but we suspect that in the Dubai heat, most people tend to stick to indoor pools for their exercise and use the outdoor ones for splashing about in as needed.
You can’t really swim in the ocean here, because there are marinas on the other side of the beach club, and you don’t want to deal with the boats that come in and out of them.
What Is There To Do At Summersault Beach Club Dubai?
You can eat, drink and be merry at Summersault. You can also lounge around on their very comfortable daybeds and enjoy the chill-out vibes laid down by their resident DJs.
This isn’t really a party spot. It’s a place that people come to for relaxing days in the sun with friends and family, and there’s not much in the way of socialising between groups.
Is Summersault Beach Club Dubai A Child-Friendly Venue?
Yes, Summersault Beach Club Dubai welcomes children. However, you should be aware that any child over the age of 4 is charged at the full adult entrance fee.
That’s a lot of money to spend for most families, but if you’re happy to spend it, they’ll be happy to see your children. We’d note that there are many other beach clubs in Dubai that offer better deals for families, though.
If you do take your child into Summersault, be aware that you are expected to watch them for their safety and also to ensure that they don’t annoy other club guests.
Who Is The Owner Of Summersault Beach Club Dubai?
Summersault is part of the Jumeriah Al Nasseem Hotel, which in turn is owned by the Jumeriah Group. Jumeriah Group is one of many assets held by the Dubai Holding company. This is a government-owned entity. So, in effect, when you visit Summersault, you are effectively paying taxes in Dubai.

We really liked Summersault. Chill-out days at beach clubs aren’t our usual priority, but this beach club knows exactly what to do to create that relaxing vibe that lets you lounge around and let the Dubai heat wash over you.
The food is good, the drinks are cold, and the service is exemplary. The view of the Burj Al Arab is unmatched anywhere in the emirate and almost worth paying the entrance fee for in its own right.
However, the entrance fee is pretty steep, and the Seven Rooms booking system is terrible. But overall? We’d have no hesitation in recommending this beach club to anyone who asked; it’s most certainly in contention for the title of best beach club in Dubai.
