Atlas Beach Club in Bali has long claimed to be the world’s biggest beach club, but in late 2025, Sirene by GAIA blew away all other contenders and opened the world’s largest beach club in Dubai.
It covers an incredible 9,000 square meters of the Jumeriah Coastline in the Emirate and is backed by Fundamental Hospitality, which owns and manages other GAIA properties in London, Marbella, Monaco and Miami.
However, friends in the know told us that it’s not the scale of this beach club that makes it special, it’s the execution and that we had to see for ourselves. So, this is what our review team made of a day at the world’s largest beach club, Sirene by GAIA in Dubai.
Introduction – Getting To Sirene By GAIA Dubai

Sirene by GAIA is in the Emirate of Dubai in one of the most popular beach areas, Jumeirah. How long it takes you to get to Dubai depends on your starting point.
It’s pretty close to Western Europe (one of the many reasons there are so many European expats there) and North Africa, but it’s a long way from Australia or North America.
Once you reach Dubai, this beach club is about an hour’s drive from the airport, maybe less on a good traffic day, and not far from most spots in the city.
It is on a popular stretch of beachfront, but as with all the main beaches in Dubai, that’s reclaimed land rather than natural coastline.
Getting a taxi in Dubai to Sirene is super easy, and driving yourself, if you rent a car, is easy, and there is valet parking at the beach club. Of course, in the Dubai heat, you really need valet parking.

Our Detailed Review For Sirene By GAIA Dubai
We feel that all our reviews should be conducted on exactly the same basis. This offers the greatest level of fairness to the beach clubs, their owners and staff, as well as making sure it’s easy to compare two properties using our reviews.
- Members of our team are elected to visit the beach club. They are not required to accompany each other or visit at the same time or day.
- Each member of the team that visits the beach club will then complete a review with scores out of 5 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best) for the 20 criteria laid out below.
- After the visit, the members meet, discuss their experiences and vote on a final score in each category.
- Then, one team member will write up our review, and it’s published on our website.
Reservation and Booking Process
We confess, we’ve seen worse booking processes, but we were expecting more at the world’s biggest beach club than this booking engine.
It’s OK. You can specify the kind of seating you want, how many people are coming, when they’re coming and pay your deposit.
However, you can’t pick your exact location in the beach club, which leaves you reliant on wait staff for a spot when you arrive, and it’s not as seamless as some of the other beach club booking engines.
We also confess that we were a little surprised by how little effort this system puts into trying to sell you an upgraded experience.
Ambience and Atmosphere

Yes, Sirene by GAIA is big, and there’s no doubt that the design team has done a fine job of bringing a little slice of the Mediterranean to Dubai.
However, for a huge place, it feels a little, well, cramped. This is especially true of the beach area where it feels a bit like they stuffed as many daybeds as they could in inspired by a can of sardines.
It is pretty, but we feel that in a place where a seat costs you $50 USD (200 AED) per person, they ought to give you enough room to swing a cat or two.
We would note that we do like the bright and breezy nature of the place, and while it’s got that corporate edge that most Dubai hospitality venues have, it’s welcoming and pleasant.
Location And Accessibility

Dubai is an easy place to enjoy, and there’s no doubt that the hot, humid climate makes people assume it will be ideal for a beach club.
But that’s only if you’ve never put bare feet on the sand which has been out in the Dubai sun since the early morning, then, you know, there can be such a thing as “too hot for the beach”.
Having said that, this is the country that gifted the world outdoor air-conditioning, and much of the downsides of being out in this heat can be overcome.
Jumeriah is a nice beachfront too, and you can see some of the world-famous palm structures out in the sea beyond the beach.
Aesthetic And Design

We do love the Mediterranean-styling at this beach club; there is absolutely no doubt in our minds that it makes you feel like you could be in Mykonos.
Though we do have to wonder why, if you wanted to be in Mykonos, you didn’t go to Greece instead of Dubai? They are both comparatively the same kind of costs, after all.
But let’s not put a damper on what is Serene by GAIA’s moment of glory. This is a very attractive beach club, and you will find your Instagram feed filling up here.
Staff Friendliness and Professionalism (Service Standard)
We’ve spent a lot of time in Dubai, and we don’t think we’ve ever been anywhere (after a brief teething period following opening day) that is anything other than friendly and professional.
The emirate attracts the best hospitality talent from around the world, and you will never set foot in Sirene by GAIA and feel anything other than welcome and valued.
The staff will usually know their way around the menu very well and be able to arrange special requests based on dietary requirements, etc., without any hassle.
Service Speed and Efficiency
And, as we’d expect in Dubai. The service here is speedy and efficient. Sure, it’s a very big beach club, but they’ve laid the place out to make sure that people can get around and get orders to the waiting crowds.
No, nothing arrives instantly, but handcrafted cocktails and expertly prepared Mediterranean meals take time to prepare, but you won’t be waiting any longer than absolutely necessary.
Overall, we wish more places in the world could train their staff to be this efficient and speedy.
Food Quality and Variety

There are two different menus in this beach club. There’s a menu for the pool area, which is all about finger food and snacks.
That menu is, in our opinion, a bit too short, and while there’s no doubt about the quality of the ingredients and food, we also felt it was very expensive even for Dubai.
The main restaurant menu is much more varied, and while not cheap, it feels like much better value for money. The ingredients are, as we’d expect, world-class, and everything is delicious.
We’re not sure that you’ll get a better oven-baked goat or lobster linguine in Dubai. It was great.
Beverage Selection and Creativity

We think that the reason Sirene by GAIA fails to include its drinks list on its website is that the prices are outrageous even by Dubai standards.
When a glass of wine is over 170 dirhams (that’s $46 USD!), things have to be absolutely incredible to justify the price tag.
And while we thought they were OK, incredible they were not. The selection is decent, but nothing made us excited, except for the price tags, though that was closer to agitated than excited.
Cleanliness and Hygiene

This is Dubai, and hygiene and cleanliness in high-end places can be pretty much taken for granted.
Sirene by GAIA is immaculate, and frankly, when they charge you $50 USD (200 AED) just to sit down, it should be.
Yes, even the toilets and shower rooms look like they could be used by a celebrity with a 300-page rider.
Comfort of Seating and Lounging Areas

We really liked the quality of the furniture at Serene by GAIA, it was clearly expensive and picked not just for style but also because it provides comfortable support for a day on the beach.
While we may not be overjoyed by the prospect of paying to take a seat in a beach club, we do feel better when we’re paying for a good seat.
Music and Entertainment

The music on an ordinary day at Sirene by GAIA is OK, but this place has regular special events with big-name DJs and the like.
So, it very much depends on the day as to whether you’re going to get amazing entertainment or just OK entertainment.
Seasonality
It’s Dubai, there simply isn’t any seasonality in a place where it’s hot and sunny all year round. And while there are religious holidays in the Emirate, most places aimed at tourists never close.
So, there’s no bad day to rock up at Sirene by GAIA, it will be open and frankly, even rain is a rarity in Dubai.
Pricing and Value for Money

Sirene by GAIA is not the world’s most expensive beach club, nor is it close. However, it is expensive even for Dubai, and in the scheme of things, it’s very expensive when compared to destinations like Bali.
We didn’t feel cheated by the costs at Sirene by GAIA, though we would like them to put the drinks menu online; there’s no need to hide the prices of a glass of wine, people will still pay them – it’s Dubai.
Beach Access and Quality

You get full access to the beach here, and it’s a private section of beach. However, it’s right next to the public beach which means you do get the occasional lecherous itinerant worker gawping over at bikini clad ladies in the sea.
It’s also reclaimed land rather than a natural beach, but it’s kept clean and well maintained by the beach club staff.
Sustainability Practices
Oddly, while the GAIA group has its own eco-friendly consulting arm, the individual properties publish no sustainability reports, and there are no sustainability reports relating to GAIA’s own activities.
The club makes no mention of any eco-friendly activities, and frankly, we didn’t see anything that made us think that Sirene by GAIA was anything other than the usual ostentatious place in Dubai. Green thinking isn’t a big thing at this beach club, sadly.
Exclusive Perks for Guests

You get, in exchange for the hefty entrance fee, a sun lounger and a towel as well as locker usage and the changing facilities.
You have to pay for pretty much everything else. There are some perks for members of a local yoga school, but only in terms of free yoga lessons in the early part of the day, otherwise these lessons are about $30 USD (125 AED) each.
Safety and Security
This is Dubai, and safety and security are legendary throughout the emirate. There are bag checks and security checks on cars entering this venue as you’d expect, but trouble is unlikely to bother you here.
The security team is also ready to break up anything that gets out of hand in the beach club, but events like this is are very rare in Dubai.
Event Hosting Capabilities
While it feels like something of an afterthought at the world’s largest beach club, they can host both private and corporate events with buyouts of facilities available and an events team on hand to make execution easy.
Consistency of Experience
The reviews of this beach club and our experiences lead us to believe that this is a very consistent experience and that you can expect the same (roughly) experience every time you go.
We would like to see them working hard to improve on their experience rather than resting on their laurels, but all told, this is a great beach club to begin with.
Additional Amenities and Facilities
All the facilities you could possibly need from a beach club are on hand at Sirene by GAIA, but this is Dubai so there’s nothing else within walking distance (as it’s too hot to walk anywhere most of the time), so expect to drive if you need anything else.
Summary

We felt that Sirene by GAIA, though it has some minor flaws, was up there in the running for the title of Dubai’s best beach club, though access does come at a fairly substantial price premium.
It’s not quite in the same league as places like FINNS in Bali, which offers a better all-day experience and for a much more reasonable cost, but it’s very good.
Overall, we felt that the world’s biggest beach club delivered on its promise, and if we were passing through Dubai again, we’d go back.
Would we travel to Dubai just for Sirene by GAIA? No, but then, a beach club really has to be something special to be worth travelling for in its own right.

Final Thoughts On The Review Of Sirene By GAIA Dubai
Sirene by GAIA is very much one of the world’s best beach clubs, and while we would prefer to spend our time somewhere like Bali getting much more bang for our buck, if we were back in Dubai, we’d visit this club again.
It is the world’s largest beach club by land area, and there’s no doubt that they’re aiming for a sizeable reputation too.
One notable thing about this beach club is that it does attract some serious A-listers and Middle Eastern royalty, so you might find you get some very famous people in your holiday snaps if you visit.
