Be Beach Dubai bills itself as a “lifestyle”, which just goes to show that all the money in the world can’t buy you a marketing team with a lick of sense in the emirate.

But if we step back from the hyperbole, we find a place that is chic, vibrant, and often entertaining, according to the people who go, and that means our review team had to be called in to find out if it really was like that.

They needed no persuading (they rarely do when it comes to a day or two in the sun with a decent drinks and lunch budget) to pack their sunscreen and head out to Be Beach DXB to see what the fuss is all about, and this is what they learned.

Introduction – Getting To Be Beach DXB, Dubai

Dubai is one of the world’s premier tourist destinations nowadays, and the emirate has gone from a deserted backwater in the 1970s to a place of endless bounty, assuming you have the financial wherewithal to access it.

There are flights to Dubai from all over the world, and where once the airport was something people only saw as they passed through for a connecting flight, now it’s one of the most popular places on Earth, and most people spend at least a few days, if not their whole holiday, in the emirate.

Getting there will rarely involve more than one flight from any other major destination, and that makes getting to the emirate relatively easy, even if it is a long way from the Americas and Australia.

We should also note that Be Beach is right next to the Palm Jumeirah and opposite Dubai Marina, which means it’s in the most visited destination in Dubai. So, for most tourists, it won’t be a long drive from their hotel to get there, assuming they are staying in Jumeirah.

If not, well, just make sure to time your trip to Be Beach DXB around the rush hour, which can be pretty brutal on the roads of Dubai.

When you arrive, you can easily be dropped off at the door, and there is valet parking available, because this is Dubai, and it’s always available, everywhere, even at the mall.

What’s Available At Be Beach DXB, Dubai?

There’s an infinity pool, beach access, a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant, a bar, an in-house DJ daily and regular nighttime DJ events from international artists. There are also comfortable seats throughout.

It’s a chill-out spot, in the main, but on the right night, with the right tunes, it can turn into a big party too.

Our Detailed Review Of Be Beach DXB, Dubai

We employ a uniform process to review every beach club, ensuring equitable treatment for owners, management, and staff, and providing reviews in a consistent format that makes venue comparisons straightforward.

The review process is conducted as follows:

  • A team is chosen to evaluate the venue.
  • Each member must visit the beach club, with the freedom to visit independently and on different days.
  • During their visit, every reviewer completes a scorecard, assigning the club a score from 1 (least remarkable) to 5 (most remarkable) in designated categories, while also noting their impressions.
  • After all team members have completed their visits and scorecards, they meet to discuss their experiences and agree on final scores for each category.
  • A selected team member then writes the review, reflecting the team’s discussions and final scores, before it is published on our website.

Reservation and Booking Process

You know that the booking process isn’t going to be very good at a beach club when you click on the reserve button and it immediately opens a new window with another website in it.

Sevenrooms may be a reputable website for restaurant bookings, but it still reduces trust in the process, and because beach clubs aren’t restaurants, it severely restricts the way that a booking can be managed to the detriment of the guests.

We were deeply unimpressed by the fact that they expect you to enter your card details without explaining why.

Overall, we can’t recommend this booking process. It’s hugely substandard, and a beach club with as much invested in it as Be Beach DXB can and should do a whole lot better than this.

Rating:

Ambience and Atmosphere

This beach club has a pleasant and uplifting vibe to it, and walking through the door, at least during the day, is noticeably relaxing (much of which is down to the resident DJ’s chill-out tunes).

While many beach clubs around the world don’t seem to understand the mood they’re trying to create, Be Beach DXB has carefully curated the overall feel of their beach club, and we think that’s a good thing.

At night, when the international DJs are in the house, they also know how to crank up the vibe to something much more high-energy, and while it’s not the best party that we’ve ever been to, we had a lot of fun dancing the night away at Be Beach DXB.

Rating:

Location And Accessibility

Jumeirah is the main tourist drag in Dubai. The emirate doesn’t really have a centre per se, rather three main areas that sort of squish together a bit.

That’s OK The vast majority of your time here is spent indoors anyway, thanks to the incredible desert heat. Most people want to stay in the air-conditioned corridors of the endless malls and 5-star hotels that line every street that visitors tend to spend time on.

So, Be Beach DXB is very easy to get to for the majority of tourists, even during rush hour; however, if you have opted to base yourself in Deira or further out, you may want to consider the traffic carefully when booking your spot here. Dubai’s roads get super crowded at certain times of day.

Some parts of this beach club also appear to be wheelchair accessible, but not all of them.

Rating:

Aesthetic And Design

We felt that the aesthetic and design were pleasant enough at Be Beach DXB and that it would look good in anyone’s Instagram feed.

But we also felt that it was kind of generic, too. Perhaps, we’ve seen one too many beach clubs in Dubai now, but they’re all starting to blend into each other.

We want more visual identity than this place has. It’s nice enough and it’s got that wow factor, but the competition here is so stiff that you have to do more than that to really stand out.

Rating:

Staff Friendliness and Professionalism (Service Standard)

We doubt that there’s anywhere in Dubai where you find service that’s not friendly and professional.

The emirate recruits the best talent from overseas, and the pay is much better than it is in their home nations.

So, you always get what you get at Be Beach DXB, consummate professionals who know the menu, the club and the area well enough to answer any questions that you may have and to provide the best service possible.

Rating:

Service Speed and Efficiency

We have to confess that we found that this place can really slow down when things get busy. And it’s busy a lot of the time.

This doesn’t feel like a consequence of scale, either; it feels like a consequence of not having enough people on duty to ensure that service is prompt and effective.

This is very unusual for this kind of venue in Dubai, given the amount of money that you’re expected to fork out just to sit down here.

We’d be more forgiving if the minimum spend wasn’t quite so stratospheric, but Be Beach DXB needs to improve on this aspect of things.

Rating:

Food Quality and Variety

The menu consists of a decent variety of Mediterranean-style dishes and some sushi too (it’s nearly always sushi too in Dubai for some reason).

However, we felt that the food was pretty ordinary, and given the high prices, we’d hoped for better. It wasn’t poor quality; it just didn’t have the wow factor that raised it above tasty.

Overall, the food is not a big draw for us at Be Beach DXB, but we’d eat here again if someone else was paying.

Rating:

Beverage Selection and Creativity

The cocktail selection is a bit limited, and the mocktail selection is pitiful, though everything is very well presented.

However, there’s no doubt that they make up for that with one of the biggest collections of spirits and wines that we’ve seen at a beach club.

If you’re in the mood to grossly overpay for a bottle of something, they almost certainly have it in stock at Be Beach DXB.

Rating:

Cleanliness and Hygiene

This is Dubai and they simply aren’t going to neglect this aspect of life anywhere. You will find that everything at this beach club is clean, well-kept and maintained.

The pool water is clear and pleasant. The toilets and changing rooms are nice enough that you could dine in them if you wanted to.

Overall, we had no concerns at all about hygiene in this beach club. Even during busy periods, the place was pretty much spotless.

Rating:

Comfort of Seating and Lounging Areas

If you’re a walk-in guest at this beach club, they have no seats available to you at all unless you’re willing to agree to a minimum spend.

Given that the minimum spend here for even a table at the bar is in thousands of Dirhams, a lot of people seem to end up sitting on the floor in various areas. We’ve yet to encounter a comfortable floor, and thus, we’re going to deduct some marks here.

If you do shell out for a seat (like our fortunate review team), then you’ll find that while the seating looks really good, it’s just OK in terms of comfort.

You won’t be making any complaints to the manager about a sore behind, but nor will you wish you could take the furniture here home with you.

Rating:

Music and Entertainment

We felt that this was a definite plus point for Be Beach DXB. Their in-house DJ does an excellent job of laying down some chill beats during the course of the day.

And then, when they have guest talent in during the evenings, the party vibe is first-rate. They know how to curate a mood with music and to make things happen.

It wasn’t THE BEST we’ve ever heard, but it was certainly very good, and we’d go back to Be Beach on the strength of their music policy alone.

Rating:

Seasonality

This is Dubai, it’s hot and sunny all year round, with almost no respite from the blazing sun. Rain is rare in the emirate, and only happens on a few days a year.

The only downside is that for much of the year, the sun is simply too hot, and you need to make certain that not only do you use sunscreen, but that you stay out of direct sunlight as much as possible.

Rating:

Pricing and Value for Money

It’s Dubai, so everything is expensive. It’s just the way that it is, and while this place isn’t overpriced for Dubai, we think about all the wild nights out we could have in Bali for the cost of a night here, and we feel that it’s not the best value for money either.

You won’t feel ripped off at Be Beach DXB, but you will watch money flow out of your wallet faster than their champagne flows into the glasses, too.

Rating:

Beach Access and Quality

The beach here is nice enough, and in common with most of Dubai, it’s soft powdery sand over reclaimed land.

The beach club staff make sure it stays as pristine as it looks all day long.

We’d also note that you could theoretically swim in the ocean here, but the water’s not great in Dubai; it’s best to stick to the pool. There is also an outside chance of riptides dragging you out to sea, too.

Rating:

Sustainability Practices

We were pretty surprised by this, but Be Beach DXB has no public sustainability policy and certainly no sustainability reporting.

There’s really no excuse for this in 2025, and while we do know that the emirate itself is pushing certain targets that every business has to meet, we expect companies to step up and do some of the heavy lifting themselves.

Rating:

Exclusive Perks for Guests

You get a towel and a comfy seat if you’re paying a minimum spend, no seat if you’re not. That’s pretty much standard for Dubai.

However, there are no premium or VIP tiers, which seems like a shocking oversight in an emirate where people routinely spend more on dinner than most people spend on their homes.

Rating:

Safety and Security

It’s Dubai, and your safety is pretty much guaranteed. You’ll find that they do conduct the occasional check of cars and bags as needed.

They also have a big security presence in the venue to ensure that nobody’s good time running over has any impact on anyone else.

Rating:

Event Hosting Capabilities

Dubai is the MICE capital of the world, and there’s no doubt that Be Beach can host events of almost any size.

They have a dedicated team on hand to organise everything from an intimate wedding to a huge corporate event.

Rating:

Consistency of Experience

Both our team and the people they spoke to in the venue felt that this place offers a very consistent experience, both for good and not so good. We felt that online customer reviews reinforced this position.

Overall, we’d like to see more effort at trying to take the level up a notch, rather than resting on their laurels.

Rating:

Additional Amenities and Facilities

This beach club has pretty much everything you need for a day by the pool, and if you do need anything else, well, it’s just a short drive away in Dubai.

Summary

In any other location in the world, Be Beach DXB would be a standout highlight, but in Dubai, it comes across as just another luxurious beach club.

The party vibe definitely helps to create a space that is theirs, but that aside, the effort here feels a touch on the generic side, not bad, just not a highlight of the beach club scene here.

We enjoyed our day at Be Beach, and we’d go back if we were passing by, but we won’t be hurrying back either; there are just too many great beach clubs in Dubai to choose from.

FAQs

Can You Go Swimming At Be Beach DXB, Dubai?

Yes, there’s a large infinity pool at Be Beach DXB, and it’s an excellent spot for swimming. We would advise getting there early in the day, though, as there’s no doubt that when this beach club gets busy, the pool can be a bit full of people to do lengths.

We found the pool area here to be very clean and well-maintained, too, so swimming is very nice.

You could, in theory, also swim in the ocean here as they have direct access to the beach, but in practice, nobody does.

The water quality is not great due to the beach being reclaimed land, and there’s always the risk of a riptide. Why take the chance with a pool as nice as the one at Be Beach DXB?

What Is There To Do At Be Beach DXB, Dubai?

You can chill by the pool, swim, eat and drink during the day and of course, read a book, or talk with your friends or family.

We should note that this is Dubai, the sun is incredibly strong, and you should spend most of your time at Be Beach DXB in the shade to avoid serious burns.

At night, there may be DJs and special events where you can dance the night away.

Is Be Beach DXB, Dubai A Child-Friendly Venue?

No, not really. This is very much an adult-oriented venue with drinking and partying being key parts of the experience.

Thus, Be Beach DXB is not considered a family-friendly venue at all. The good news is that if you do need a child-friendly beach club, there are plenty of places to choose from in the emirate.

Who Is The Owner Of Be Beach DXB, Dubai?

Be Beach DXB is a joint venture. The hospitality company Addmind from Beirut is a part owner, and the Sekoya Management group, which is a Dubai company, is the other part owner.

Final Thoughts On The Review Of Be Beach DXB, Dubai

Dubai’s beach clubs are all very luxurious and good at what they do, but with so many to choose from, places like Be Beach DXB don’t really stand out very much.

You won’t have a bad time at Be Beach DXB, far from it. Our review team enjoyed their day there immensely, and if it’s the only beach club you visit in the emirate, we’re positive that you will remember it fondly in the future.

But if you visit a few beach clubs? Well, then they all start to blur into one. Be Beach DXB is kind of a generic amalgamation of all the beach club experiences here, rather than offering something truly unique of its own.
